This panel discussion will highlight the rich history and revitalization of Pontchartrain Park, the first suburban subdivision built for African Americans in New Orleans. It will also provide an opportunity to meet community leaders such as Tommye Myrick (activist and owner of the JuJu Bag Cafe), Jacques Morial, and others.
Presented by the PRC's African American Heritage Preservation program, chaired by Janie Blackmon and Bridget Carter.

Free and open to the public.

Forms are available in teh St. Gaberial Parish office to sign up for the Food for Famileis program.
Distributions will be on the 3rd Monday of every month 9:30 - 10:30a.m.
